Biography
Dr. Wendelin Hume has taught at the University of North Dakota for 34+ years. She completed her undergraduate degree at Black Hills State University in Spearfish South Dakota and her graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Based on her experiences growing up on an Anishinabe reservation in Northwestern Ontario and on her work in the Criminal Justice field her academic interests include Tribal Justice, Restorative Justice, and victim issues ranging from Cybercrime to family violence. Her personal interests include her family, ranch, and contributing time and energy to community and her undergraduate and graduate students.

Have taught classes ranging in size from 3 to 411 students. Have offered classes on the main campuses, after hours, at the Air Base, statewide over the interactive video network, using Wimba, and using Skype. Enjoy using classrooms that are technologically equipped so I can incorporate Elmo, PowerPoint, BlackBoard, and interactive cd-rom technologies into my class presentations when appropriate.
